Sinks Canyon Wild presents the “Sinks Canyon: A Deeper Meaning Series.” The Monday, March 20, 2023 session will start at 6:30 PM and explore the intersection of appropriate recreation and wildlife management.
Featured presenters: Taylor Phillips, the founder of EcoTour Adventures; Courtney Larson, a conservation scientist with The Nature Conservancy in Wyoming; and, Bruce Thompson a retired natural science education specialist. Learn more.
UW Haub School Panel Discussion on Via Ferrata in Sinks Canyon
On Tuesday, January 24, the University of Wyoming’s Haub School of Environment and Natural Resources presented a panel discussion about the proposed Via Ferrata development in Sinks Canyon.
Sinks Canyon Wild President Ron Smith was a panelist, as were Fremont County residents John Pingree the Eastern Shoshone Cultural Spiritual representative, and Cristina Gonzalez from Lander.
