Sinks Canyon: A Deeper Meaning Series-- Wildlife-Recreation Challenges

Sinks Canyon Wild presents the “Sinks Canyon: A Deeper Meaning Series.” The Monday, March 20, 2023 session will start at 6:30 PM and explore the intersection of appropriate recreation and wildlife management.

The evening’s presenters will be:

  • Taylor Phillips is the founder of EcoTour Adventures, a Jackson-based natural history and wildlife viewing program. Taylor also created and launched WYldlife for Tomorrow to inspire businesses that depend on wildlife to invest in projects to enhance wildlife opportunities in Wyoming.

  • Courtney Larson is a conservation scientist with The Nature Conservancy in Wyoming, based in Lander. Her overall focus is centered around wildlife conservation and human impacts on ecological systems.

  • Bruce Thompson is a retired natural science education specialist, having operated his business, EcoTracs (Ecology-based Teaching, Resources, and Curriculum Services) for thirty years throughout the Intermountain West.

  • The doors will open at 6:00 PM.

  • Complimentary light snacks and drinks will be served.

  • A cash Bar will be available.

  • Silent Auction featuring local artists.
